Create a new new model by importing your 3D CAD file from a variety of formats. Define the model name and ID to be used for recall.
Rotate, Zoom and Orient the camera in the 3D model to Select each inspection location. Each will be assigned a (changeable sequence ID and Inspection ID.
Select sensor specific custom tools from drop down and adjust tolerances for each inspection if necessary. Reorder or change Inspection IDs. Tools are only limited by the vision system chosen.
Select Auto Path generation. This will generate your new robot inspection program. (This is a unique feature only available in VisionSoft2D and VisionSoft3D and is not dependent on robot manufacturer.)
Execute Auto Registration. Upon execution, the robot will run through your inspection sequence stopping at each point and perform a master image registration from your target part.
If necessary, Vision Tools may be adjusted by accessing the Vendor’s portal button at the bottom of the screen. This allows for advanced vision setup features that are part of your Vision hardware.
Push to Production. This is the final step in your setup process. Once completed you are now ready to run production.
VERSATILE – VisionSoft2D has been designed to simplify and automate the difficult vision inspections for in-line or off-line quality control. The versatile use of a robot means hundreds of parts or assemblies can be checked in one location without the need for human interaction.
SIMPLE – VisionSoft2D is easily setup with less than two days of basic training. You don’t have to be a robot programmer or have vast knowledge of vision to complete the setup process. Basic part presence can be setup with little to no vision experience. Advanced inspection tools and filters do require additional training.
FLEXIBLE – Fixed Camera systems are limited due to focal lengths, field of views, lack of resolution, lighting, and poor camera angle. VisionSoft2D ensures consistency for field of view and resolution while providing flexibility for lighting and camera angle. Our process gives you full control of software vision filtering and other valuable tools for each inspection.
COST SAVINGS – VisionSoft2D allows you to use vision in places, typically requiring a visual quality inspector thereby eliminating labor from your process. Additional savings are found by the elimination of error in reporting and trace-ability.
